Devara’s Cinematic Revolution: A Landmark in Presales, Technology & Film Festivals

Devara premieres globally on September 26 and is already shattering records and generating an unstoppable wave of excitement and anticipation! Starring Jr. NTR, the “Man of Masses,” alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, the film is directed by Koratala Siva and has music by Anirudh. This pan-India release, available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, marks Jr. NTR’s first solo film in six years.

Devara’s Chart-Topping Hits and Trailer Buzz

Three singles from the film are already trending, “Fear Song” and “Daavudi” exploding with popularity immediately after release, while “Chuttamalle” has already surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. Anirudh’s soundtrack resonates with audiences, and the background score is being praised for enhancing the film’s intensity. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the trailer hasn’t diminished the film’s record-breaking success or fans’ surging excitement.

Box Office Sensation: Devara’s Record-Smashing Presales

Devara’s excitement has taken over the world before its release, making box office history. It is the first Indian film in 2024 to surpass $1.75 million in presales and set a record as the fastest Indian film to sell 40,000 pre-sale tickets in the US. Even more impressive, it crossed $800k in US presales before the trailer was released and bookings opened at AMC Cinemas, one of the largest theater chains in the US. The film also surpassed AU$150,000 in Australian presales and sold over 10,000 tickets in the UK. In a remarkable achievement, Devara’s mania reached new heights when the world’s second-largest IMAX screen in Melbourne sold out in just two minutes.
