- Promising Young Musicians: Four awards highlight emerging talent in Indian classical music.
- Lifetime Achievement Honor: This category honors educators who make extraordinary contributions to nurturing musical talent.
- State Medallion: These awards celebrate regional contributions to preserving the rich heritage of Indian classical music.
Winners receive cash prizes and international performance opportunities, including collaborations with Rahman. The awards foster an ecosystem that supports immersive musical experiences while preserving cultural traditions.
