If Vibhor Parashar looks familiar, there’s a good chance you’ve seen him on Indian Idol. The singer first won audiences over as a contestant on Season 10, where his performances earned him a place among the finalists and introduced his voice to viewers throughout the country.
That television breakthrough, however, was only one chapter of his story. Long before Indian Idol, Vibhor had spent years performing on stage, and since the competition, he has continued to build his career through playback singing, original releases, and live concerts. This summer, fans throughout North America can catch him as one of the featured vocalists on Vishal & Sheykhar’s “The Superhit Tour”.
Building a Career Beyond Television
Following Indian Idol, Vibhor expanded his work through playback songs, singles, and live performances. His releases, including “Waareya”, “Meherma Ve”, “Superstar”, “Aeroplane”, and “Pyar Naal“, showcase his versatility while allowing him to build an audience beyond television. He often shows his work and journey on his social media, offering a mix of recording sessions, rehearsals, live performances, and moments from life on the road.
Speaking to IWMBuzz after the competition, Vibhor shared that Indian Idol gave him valuable experience and helped him grow both personally and professionally. That mindset continues to shape his career as he takes on new projects and opportunities.

This summer, Vibhor joins Vishal & Sheykhar’s “The Superhit Tour” once again to perform for audiences throughout North America alongside one of Bollywood’s most successful composer duos.
Sharing the stage with artists whose music has shaped Bollywood for more than two decades gives him the chance to perform before thousands of fans while continuing to introduce his own voice to new audiences. It also reflects how his career has steadily evolved from televised competitions to major concert stages.
