Meet Nidhi Wagle, the Rising Singer Touring with Vishal & Sheykhar
If you’ve been following Vishal & Sheykhar’s “The Superhit Tour” this summer, you may have already heard one of India’s rising independent artists without realizing it. Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Nidhi Wagle has joined the tour as a featured performer, bringing her own style and stage presence to audiences throughout North America.
Finding Her Voice
Away from the concert stage, Wagle has steadily built a catalogue of original music rooted in personal storytelling. She grew up in Dubai, learned drums and piano before teaching herself guitar, and later moved to Mumbai to study music production and composition at Whistling Woods International.
Since releasing her debut single, “Picture Frame,” in 2020, she has continued to write and release original music in both English and Hindi while growing her presence in India’s independent music scene. While releasing original music, she continues to share acoustic sessions, songwriting clips, and behind-the-scenes moments with her audience on social media.
Building Her Live Career
In December 2022, Wagle opened for Post Malone at the Zomato Feeding India Concert in Mumbai. She shared the lineup with artists including Jonita Gandhi, Anuv Jain, and Ananya Birla, performing before one of the biggest crowds of her career.
In an interview, Wagle said the experience pushed her to keep improving as a performer. She also spoke about how much she enjoys performing live, something that has continued to shape her career. Since then, she has continued to build her reputation as a live performer. In summer 2025, she joined Vishal & Sheykhar’s “The Superhit Tour” as one of the featured vocalists, performing for audiences throughout North America alongside one of Bollywood’s most celebrated composer duos. The tour has introduced her to thousands of concertgoers while giving fans another chance to discover her original music beyond the concert stage.
