Vishal Dadlani on Touring, Staying Stage Ready and What Fans Mean to Him
What does it take to keep moving when one show ends and another is already waiting? Sanskar Savvy caught up with Vishal Dadlani in the Bay Area during “The Superhit Tour” to talk about the pace of touring, how he prepares for the stage, and the fans who make it worthwhile. When we asked what goes through his mind as thousands of fans in the U.S. sing Vishal & Sheykhar songs back to him, his first answer was considerably more practical than sentimental.
“That I need to survive the show for the next show, which is on the next day,” Dadlani told Sanskar Savvy.
“The schedule’s nuts.”
But the demanding schedule was only part of his answer. Dadlani also spoke about the people filling those venues, the simple routine that gets him ready to perform, and why his final message to an audience is always the same. Keeping Up With The Tour
Dadlani may have been thinking about making it to the next show, but he was just as quick to acknowledge the people who showed up for each one.
“It’s awesome to have the people coming to the show,” he said. “I appreciate each and every one. It means the world to me.”
For Vishal & Sheykhar, that audience includes fans who have followed their music through years of films, albums, and live performances. On tour, that connection becomes immediate when the crowd knows the songs and sings along. For Dadlani, it also happens on a schedule that leaves little time to slow down before the next performance.
How Vishal Dadlani Gets Ready Before a Show
Dadlani has no elaborate pre-show ritual. When asked about the last thing he usually does before stepping onstage, he pointed to vocal work and some quick physical movement to get his body ready.
“A quick physical sort of jump around and wake the body up,” he said.
The routine is simple, but it fits the pace he described. Each show requires the energy and stamina to perform that night while staying ready to do it again at the next stop.
Food Is Fuel on the Road
When we asked what food he most looks forward to while touring in the U.S., Dadlani gave us an answer we didn’t expect.
“Food is not my thing,” he said. “I just eat for macros, so I don’t really care about taste.”
Instead of searching for a favorite meal in every city, he focuses on what his body needs to keep moving. This practical approach matches the rest of his tour routine. Get ready, perform, recover, and prepare for what comes next.

When we closed the conversation by asking if he had any final words for his fans, Dadlani did not hesitate.
“Thank you,” he said. “Always my last words for every audience. Thank you.”
He told us he says it from the stage as well.
“You mean the world,” Dadlani said. “We are what we are because of you, and we appreciate it. Thank you so much.”
After talking about the schedule and everything it takes to stay ready from one show to the next, Dadlani’s final answer brought the conversation back to the people on the other side of the stage.
