Sheykhar Ravjiani Shares the Fan Moment That Stayed With Him on Tour
What keeps performing exciting after years of making songs that audiences already know by heart?
We asked Sheykhar Ravjiani during The Superhit Tour, and his answers kept coming back to the people around the music.
In an exclusive conversation with Sanskar Savvy, Sheykhar spoke about hearing fans sing his songs back, a meaningful interaction with an elderly fan in Seattle, the people who make touring feel like home, and why being a musician still does not feel like work.

Hearing Fans Sing the Songs Back
For Sheykhar, one of the best parts of performing live happens when the audience takes over.
“It’s the most amazing feeling when people know your songs, and they start singing them,” he told Sanskar Savvy. “So yeah, that’s the high point for me.”
After years of writing, composing, and performing songs heard by audiences around the world, that exchange still stands out to him. It also helps explain what makes a Vishal & Sheykhar show work. Fans aren’t just listening to songs they recognize; they are singing along with the artists who created them.
The Seattle Fan Moment That Stayed With Him
When we asked about a favorite fan interaction during the U.S. tour, Sheykhar immediately thought about an elderly fan he had met in Seattle.
She came to the meet-and-greet, took a photo with him, and later sat in the front row for the show. When Sheykhar saw her, he went over to take her blessings.
“When you see someone who’s so senior and so elderly, who’s kind of really taken the effort of coming for the meet-and-greet, taking pictures with you, and then sitting in the first row and giving you that blessing,” he said. “I think that’s the most beautiful.”
Why Music Still Does Not Feel Like Work
Singer, performer, composer, entrepreneur, and music mentor are all part of Sheykhar’s career. When we asked which role was the toughest, his answer was surprisingly straightforward.
“I live music, so for me it’s not work,” he said. “It’s just the joy of being a musician.”
He added that he feels happy and blessed to have built a life around music.
