US Premier League Returns in 2026 With an Expanded Season and Bigger Ambitions

The United States Premier League (USPL) is preparing to Celebrate, Explore, Connect! for its fourth season, set to run from November 20 to December 5, 2026, at Broward County Stadium in Florida. With all regulatory approvals secured, including support from the International Cricket Council (ICC), the league is positioning itself for a stronger and more visible presence in the American cricket landscape.

A Growing League With New Teams on the Horizon

Season 4 will introduce two additional franchises, reflecting the league’s steady growth since its launch. Organizers have emphasized that the expansion is part of a broader plan to strengthen the competition, broaden regional representation, and create more opportunities for domestic players.

USPL Founder and Chairman Jaideep Singh highlighted the league’s momentum and hinted at new partnerships that will be announced as the season approaches. His comments underscored the league’s intention to build a sustainable cricket ecosystem in the U.S., not just a seasonal tournament.

Momentum From a Successful 2025 Campaign

The previous season concluded with the New York Cowboys lifting the trophy after defeating the Maryland Mavericks. Several standout performers from the league, including Monank Patel, Saurabh Netravalkar, and Shadley Van Schalkwyk, later represented the United States in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Their progression reinforced the USPL’s role as a proving ground for players aiming to reach higher levels of competition.

What Fans Can Expect in 2026

Organizers have signaled that Season 4 will feature:

The league’s return comes at a time when cricket is gaining more visibility in the U.S., helped by recent international tournaments and growing grassroots interest.

With new teams, a longer season, and increased institutional backing, the USPL is positioning itself as a central part of cricket’s rise in the United States. Season 4 aims to build on the foundation laid over the past three years and offer a stronger platform for players and fans alike.
