Her voice ruled over Indian cinema and the Indian music scene for over eight decades and was highly credited for numerous hits. Fondly referred to as Asha Tai, her music moved effortlessly across generations, styles, and languages, earning both critical acclaim and widespread appreciation from audiences worldwide.
