Vishal & Sheykhar Feature on “The Great Indian Kapil Show” Independence Day Episode
On August 15, The Great Indian Kapil Show transformed into a celebration of music and laughter when composer duo Vishal Dadlani and Sheykhar Ravjiani appeared as special guests. In true Sanskar Savvy spirit to Celebrate, Explore, Connect!, they joined singers Shaan and Neeti Mohan for an Independence Day episode filled with songs, stories, and entertainment.
A Musical Independence Day Celebration
Kapil Sharma opened the episode with a playful impersonation of Nana Patekar, bringing humor to the patriotic theme. Vishal & Sheykhar then launched into a stirring rendition of Vande Mataram, honoring India’s freedom while marking 25 years of their musical journey. From their debut in Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi to their recent work in Fighter, the duo shared reflections on friendship, creativity, and collaboration that shaped their careers.
Shaan added nostalgia with his performance of Suno Na, and Neeti Mohan delivered a heartfelt Tu Hai Toh. The episode also spotlighted Paralympic bronze medalist Simran Sharma, who appeared with her husband and coach Gajendra Singh to share her inspiring journey.
