Martin Garrix and Arijit Singh’s “Angels For Each Other” blends EDM and Bollywood like never before

Martin Garrix has taken a bold new step in his career with the release of Angels For Each Other, a groundbreaking collaboration with Indian music icon Arijit Singh. The song is a fusion of electronic beats and soulful vocals and is the first time Garrix has performed vocals on a track, a decision that has sent waves of enthusiasm across his global fanbase.

As Sanskar Savvy continues to Celebrate, Explore, Connect! through music, this collaboration stands as a testament to the power of artistic exchange.

A Unique Cultural Collaboration

Garrix, the five-time #1 DJ in the world, is known for his signature progressive house sound, while Arijit Singh, India’s most followed artist on Spotify, is celebrated for his emotive and powerful vocals. Together, they created a song that seamlessly blends Hindi and English lyrics, crafting a resonant anthem about unity, resilience, and human connection.

Singh’s verses in Hindi inspire listeners to live in the present—“Jo hai pal wo yahi hai, ji lena”—while Garrix’s English lyrics bring a deeply personal touch with lines like, “If I learn to pray right, I pray you’re safely home.” The chorus ties it together with the emotionally stirring refrain, “We rise, and we fall, I see who you are underneath it all.” This powerful message of support and companionship makes Angels For Each Other a song that transcends language and culture.

Historic Live Debut in India

The timing of the song’s release couldn’t be more fitting. Angels For Each Other debuted just ahead of Garrix’s first-ever stadium performance in India at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on March 14. The concert was an epic moment for our mutual cultures, coinciding with Holi, the festival of colors, which celebrates love, unity, and new beginnings.

During the performance, Singh joined Garrix onstage, bringing the collaboration to life before a sea of fans. The emotional weight of the moment was evident when Garrix later posted on Instagram, “Mumbai, it will take a lot of time for me to process last night. Forever in my heart… thank you.” The synergy between the two artists makes for a defining track of 2025.
