Inside Anuv Jain’s First US Tour with Kash Patel Productions
Anuv Jain just wrapped his first-ever US tour. Sold-out rooms, fans who flew in from around the country, and nights that went far beyond regular shows. It’s difficult to put into words what an incredible experience this was. For Sanskar Savvy, supporting this tour alongside Kash Patel Productions from start to finish was one of the most meaningful experiences we have had this year. Some tours you work and move on from; this one will stay with us forever. At Sanskar Savvy, we Celebrate, Explore, Connect! with the artists and moments shaping South Asian culture, and Anuv Jain reminded us what that mission really means.
What This Tour Represented
Anuv Jain is no new name to anyone following the Indian indie music scene, but this tour was something different. Selling out shows on a first-ever North American tour is not something every artist can pull off, and the fact that he did it with the kind of fanbase that flies in from all over North America, waits for hours in line, and shows up with their whole heart says everything about what he has built.
This was not a tour that needed a massive production budget or a decades-long catalog to land. It needed an artist with a real connection to his audience, and that is exactly what Anuv Jain brought to every single show. He described the moment it all became real. “It really hit me when I was on stage and saw people in the audience singing along to every word. That’s usually the moment when it feels real,” he told us, “because until then, it’s just numbers or messages online. But seeing it live, in a completely different country, was quite surreal.”
What We Saw on the Road
Working alongside the team at Kash Patel Productions throughout the tour gave us a close look at what made this tour what it was, and what stood out at every stop was how intentional everything felt.
The shows themselves delivered. Anuv has a natural command of a room that is built on a genuine connection. He talks to his crowds, not at them. He tells stories between songs, remembers where people came from, and finds ways throughout the night to make a room full of thousands of people feel like an intimate show. When asked how he brings that kind of emotion into large venues, his answer was simple: “I try not to think too much about the size of the space or the crowd. I just focus and stay present in that moment.” You could feel that in every performance.
His songs come from deeply personal places, and performing them live carries real weight. “It always feels a bit vulnerable because these songs come from very personal experiences,” he said. “But at the same time, it’s also comforting to see people connect with them in their own way. That balance of vulnerability and connection is what makes performing them special.” There are even songs he feels nervous about playing, ones that feel heavier emotionally, though he says, “Once I’m on stage, it usually becomes about the music and the moment, and that helps me ease into it.”
The fan response reflected it all. These were not casual listeners. These were people who had been waiting for this tour for a long time, who had traveled great distances to be there, and who left those venues having gotten exactly what they came for and then some. There is something about watching a room full of people experience an artist they love live for the first time. Seeing how that impacts them, how he impacts them, is special. Watching that happen and knowing our team played a role in building awareness around these shows made the work feel real and impactful.
In His Own Words
Beyond the stage, Anuv came into this tour with an openness that extended well past the music. He told us he was looking forward to “experiencing the places, the culture, and meeting people,” and that “it’s always interesting to see different parts of the world beyond the stage as well.” That curiosity to understand showed in everything he did. And when we asked what he hoped audiences would walk away feeling, he kept it honest: “I don’t really go in with expectations, but seeing people walk away feeling a little more connected to something, and sometimes emotional, it means a lot to me.”
His independence as an artist has shaped it all. Having always worked outside a label, he told us, “It has given me a lot of freedom to stay true to the kind of music I want to make,” and that he has “never really felt the pressure to change my sound for anything else.” That freedom is audible in every song, and it is what makes his connection with his audience feel as genuine as it does.
When we asked him to sum up the tour in three words, he did not hesitate: grateful, surreal, emotional. Three words that, honestly, felt right to us too.
What Anuv Jain Proved on This Tour
The audience for South Asian indie music in North America is real, growing, and will show up. Sold-out shows, devoted fans, and a first US tour as impactful as this one do not happen by accident. It happens because an artist spent years building something authentic, and because organizations like Kash Patel Productions know how to bring those moments to the right stages.
For Sanskar Savvy, being part of this tour from the first show to the last was a reminder of exactly why we do what we do. Anuv Jain is the kind of artist who makes you care about this industry, and getting to support his music at every stop of this run meant more to our team than we expected. We are proud of the role we played and even more excited for what he does next. This was an incredible tour, and we are glad we got to celebrate an artist who has earned every bit of the love he got this tour, explore the sound he is bringing to the world, and connect with the community that has been there for Anuv from the beginning.
