About the show
JOGI is an immersive live musical experience celebrating the spiritual depth, storytelling, and cultural heritage of Punjab and South Asia. Rooted in Sufism, qawwali, Punjabi folk, ghazals, and South Asian musical traditions, JOGI brings timeless sounds to the stage through a fresh, contemporary expression.
Presented by StageOne Productions, the concert is led by singer-songwriter Sahil K, a disciple of the late Ustad Sardool Sikander. Sahil reimagines the timeless traditions of Sufi music, qawwali, Punjabi folk, and South Asian classical music through a powerful contemporary sound. Having performed internationally and shared the stage with legendary composer A. R. Rahman, Sahil is known for performances that move between soulful intimacy and electrifying energy.
Joining him are Toronto-based singer-songwriters Nishat Khair and Sunayna Sharma. Nishat blends South Asian ghazals, qawwali, Bengali folk, Western rock, and pop, reflecting her Calcutta roots and diverse musical journey. Sunayna, born in Ludhiana and raised in a musical family, combines Punjabi folk, Sufi music, and ghazals with modern R&B and pop influences.
More than a concert, JOGI invites audiences into a shared journey of love, longing, faith, devotion, and celebration—where music transcends language and connects directly with the soul.
