About the show
Dallas has already seen one side of A.R. Rahman. Now, he’s returning with something entirely different.
After bringing The Wonderment Tour to Texas Trust CU Theatre in 2025, A.R. Rahman returns to Grand Prairie on October 29 for the A.R. Rahman Symphonic Experience, transforming some of his most celebrated music through the scale and power of a live orchestra.
For decades, the two-time Academy Award and two-time Grammy Award winner has shaped the sound of Indian cinema while building a catalog recognized around the world. From “Roja”, “Dil Se” and “Lagaan” to “Rockstar” and “Slumdog Millionaire”, Rahman’s music has crossed languages, genres and generations.
This time, audiences will hear that music from a different perspective. The symphonic format brings new dimension to Rahman’s melodies, cinematic scores and genre-spanning compositions, pairing the music fans know with expansive orchestral arrangements.
A.R. Rahman “Symphonic Experience” comes to Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 8 p.m.
